Terms of Service for Camp Notes

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Camp Notes mobile application ("App") provided by CCT Plus LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Camp Notes is a mobile application that allows users to:

Track and record camping experiences
Share campground and site information with the community
Collaborate on visit records with other users
Store photos and notes from camping trips
Access offline camping data

User Accounts

Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to create an account
If we discover a user is under the minimum age, we will delete their account and data
One person may not maintain more than one account

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Acceptable Use

You May

Use the App for personal, non-commercial camping-related purposes
Share accurate information about campgrounds and camping sites
Upload photos from your own camping experiences
Collaborate with other users on shared visits

You May Not

Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
Share false, misleading, or inaccurate information about campgrounds or sites
Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
Post content that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' private data
Use the App to spam, harass, or harm other users
Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of photos, notes, and other content you upload
By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, display, and process it as necessary to provide the Service
You represent that you have the right to upload and share all content you submit
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate others' rights

Community Data

Campground and site information (names, locations, amenities) becomes part of the community database
This information helps other users and becomes publicly available within the App
Your personal visit records remain private unless you choose to share them

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws
We do not actively monitor private user content but may investigate reported violations
Shared content and community data may be subject to review

Company Intellectual Property

The App, its features, and underlying technology are owned by CCT Plus LLC
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our intellectual property

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you agree to our privacy practices.

Subscriptions and Payments

Camp Notes Pro Subscription

Some features require a paid subscription managed through the Apple App Store
Subscription fees are charged through your Apple ID account
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
You can cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Changes to Pricing

We may change subscription prices at any time
Price changes will be communicated in advance
Existing subscribers will be notified before renewal at new prices

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access
The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
We are not responsible for damages caused by service interruptions

Accuracy of Information

Campground and site information is provided by users and may not always be accurate or current
We do not verify the accuracy of user-submitted information
You should verify important details (availability, amenities, etc.) independently

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CCT PLUS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM

Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
Deleting your account will remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
We may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice
Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Texas.
